Handle peak shopping traffic with clear transaction paths

Focusing on product browsing, account login and order submission, static acceleration and critical path protection are configured separately, so that each step of access has an appropriate strategy.

THE CHALLENGE

Start with the workload

During the major promotion period, access to images and pages is concentrated, and the login and ordering interfaces need to be kept real-time. A single caching or blocking strategy can easily affect both speed and transaction experience.

BUILT AROUND YOUR WORKLOAD

Protect each critical path

01

Product content delivery

Configure cache cycles for images, scripts, and styles, and refresh the cache synchronously when active materials are updated.

02

Transaction API protection

The login, shopping cart and order interfaces maintain dynamic back-to-source, and WAF and CC protection rules are set according to paths.

03

Payment callback compatibility

Check the access requirements for payment notifications, logistics callbacks and internal interfaces before going online, configure necessary exceptions and verify them.

Integration, step by step

  1. 01

Sort out domain names and paths

Distinguish between product resources, user login, orders and third-party callbacks.

  2. 02

    Configure SCDN and HTTPS

Access domain name and origin server, configure certificate, cache and built-in WAF.

  3. 03

    Verify key transaction flows

Test browsing, login, checkout and callbacks before updating DNS.

Verify before launch

  • Confirm that login status, order and payment responses do not enter the public cache.
  • Verify signatures and responses using real payment and logistics callbacks.
  • Rehearse campaign updates, cache purges and DNS rollback.
Monitor after launch

Focus on page access quality, key interface availability and protection against false interceptions; combine log adjustment strategies during the event.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to purchase additional WAF?

WAF is already included in Standard and higher plans of each line, and there is no need to purchase it separately. The Personal and Basic do not support WAF; when your e-commerce business requires application protection, please choose the Standard or higher.

Will order and user information be cached?

The solution should not cache the login status, shopping cart, order and payment paths, and check the response headers and caching rules. Actual business behavior needs to be verified before going online.
