UNIFIED EDGE ACCESS

One address. Multiple regions.
Plan resilient access for your services.

For cross-regional websites, APIs, and application portals, Anycast routing is used to organize multi-regional access, and access paths are planned based on user distribution and origin server location. Cooperate with WAFPRO SCDN to form a complete solution for network access, application protection and origin server protection.

Users in different regions access the same Anycast service address. Network routing selects a reachable regional entry point, then traffic reaches your origin according to the agreed integration plan.

PRODUCT FEATURES

Protection designed for your workload

One service endpoint

Organize multi-region entrances through Anycast to help users in different regions access the same service and simplify external business access.

Network-based routing

Network routing policies direct incoming traffic. Plan access around target regions and link conditions; the actual entry point depends on routing and reachability.

Multi-region availability planning

Design access strategies around node status and business continuity to reduce reliance on a single regional entrance.

Works with SCDN

Websites and adapted HTTP(S) APIs can be combined with SCDN to use acceleration and built-in WAF to plan abnormal request filtering and normal access back to the source in a unified manner.

Origin routing

Plan origin connectivity around its location, protocols and bandwidth requirements. Assess both network quality and origin access restrictions.

Phased validation

First sort out user regions and protocols, then verify access paths, protection rules and switching behaviors, and gradually complete the business rollout.

CONFIGURATION & DELIVERY

Confirm entry points and origin routing before choosing a tier

Suitable workloads

When users from multiple regions access the same service entrance, they need to first evaluate the protocol, long connection, and origin server deployment. It is not equivalent to content caching, nor does it automatically have full application protection.

Configuration options

Hand over the user region, service address, business bandwidth, origin server location and redundancy requirements to the consultant, and confirm the coverage nodes and return-to-origin methods one by one.

Integration requirements

Routing and reachability determine the entry point. Anycast does not guarantee the physically closest node or uninterrupted migration of existing connections when routes change.

Billing and Delivery

See the plans for monthly pricing and custom configurations. Your quote should specify setup, extra resources, overage handling and cutover support. Complete integration testing before a phased rollout.

BUILT FOR YOUR BUSINESS

From integration to operations, support throughout

01

Define the workload

Sort out the domain name, protocol, target region, bandwidth requirements and long connection usage to provide a basis for configuration selection.

02

Plan entry points and origin routes

Design the access entrance and origin server path based on the business deployment location, and clarify the available lines and protection configuration.

03

Test routing and failover

Test key area access, health check, and troubleshooting behaviors before going online to confirm they are consistent with business expectations.

04

Observe and adjust

Combined with access quality and exception records, the plan can be adjusted according to user distribution, origin server deployment and business scale.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Frequently asked questions

How to choose between Anycast-Boundless and SCDN?

Website acceleration and application layer protection can start with SCDN; when a unified entrance is needed to serve users in multiple regions, or when cross-regional access and availability are planned, Anycast-Boundless can be further evaluated. Both can be used in combination depending on the business architecture.

Do I still need to purchase WAF separately?

WAF is included with Standard and higher SCDN plans on every network. Personal and Basic do not include WAF. Anycast-Boundless addresses multi-region network access needs.

Does Anycast always choose the closest node?

Not necessarily. Routing policy and reachability determine the Anycast entry point. It may not be the physically closest node or the lowest-latency path. Test access from your target regions.

How do I connect an existing service?

Provide the domain name or address, access protocol, user region, origin server location and bandwidth requirements. The technical consultant will confirm the entrance and return-to-origin plan, and then complete integration testing verification and phased switching.

How to confirm the plan price and specific configuration?

Advanced, Commercial and Flagship have monthly prices. Enterprise & Public Sector is quoted to order. Confirm coverage, bandwidth, protection configuration and delivery scope for each tier before ordering.

Can I use long-lived connections?

Assess the protocol, connection duration and origin architecture first, then test how connections behave when routing changes. Anycast does not guarantee uninterrupted migration of existing connections when the entry point changes.
